The last few years I have had such a great time on Facebook reconnecting with old friends from my childhood. It’s like getting a sequel to high school and seeing what everyone has grown up to become. Life has been good to friends, but has also thrown a lot of challenging curve balls their way. One friend in particular is about to embark on a ferocious battle. True to Texas hearts, we have all rallied together to help in any way we can. This is where this idea came to me – being a girl is an membership. When one of us is down, we come together to help her up. We also know that if we need help ourselves, our girls are there for us. So this is my new mission – a group of women who simply do what they can to help each other. It doesn’t have to be anything more than a prayer, but I hope it can be more as the group grows. I would love for you all to post anything you or anyone you know may need so we can support each other! We do not have to repay these acts of kindness, we simply “Girl it forward”.
